Seattle Center’s workshops and community programs invite the public into hands-on experiences that connect sport, culture, creativity, and learning during SEA ’26. Join us on the Armory Balcony on Seattle Game Days for special workshops in art-making, dance skills, cultural expressions and more. Get creative and play! Suitable for families and kids.

Today's Workshop:

Soccer Science: Brush Bot Engineering
12pm - 2pm
Children and Families will engineer pathways for brush bots to score goals. Brush bots move using vibration energy; families can help the bots navigate to a goal using building materials such as Kapla blocks, Magnatiles, and Legos. For older kids, we will have plastic golf balls - the challenge will be to get the brush bot to push the ball into the goal.
Educational Outcomes: Engineering, Creative Problem Solving, Observing Cause and Effect, Kinetics, and Iterative Play
Workshop brought to you by Seattle Children's Museum.
