Seattle Center Kicks Off Its Ultimate 2026 Summer Season

Free Festivals, World-Class Concerts, Movies Under the Stars, and a Once-in-a-Generation Soccer Celebration

SEATTLE, WA — Summer is back at Seattle Center, and 2026 brings the biggest season yet. Sponsored by Muckleshoot Casino Resort and Modelo, Summer at the Center runs Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day—May 22 to September 6—filling the campus with free festivals, outdoor concerts, fitness classes, world cuisine, outdoor movies, and the once-in-a-generation energy of the FIFA World Cup 2026TM coming to Seattle.
 
From the International and DuPen Fountains to the Artists at Play playground, every corner of Seattle Center transforms into a destination this summer. Families, foodies, music lovers, and culture seekers will find something new on every visit—most of it free.
 
"No two visits are alike," and this summer proves it. Here's a preview of what's coming:
 
Let's Play SEA '26 — World Soccer Fan Celebration | June 11 – July 19
As Seattle hosts FIFA World Cup 26™ matches this summer, Seattle Center becomes the city's premier fan destination with the World Soccer Fan Celebration. From June 11 through July 19, fans from around the globe can experience large-scale match-viewing screens, a Global Marketplace (June 11–July 10), Global DJ programming, and family-friendly fan activations—all free and open to the public. It's the largest international sporting event in Seattle's history, and Seattle Center will be at the heart of it.
 
Workout Wednesdays presented by Virginia Mason Franciscan Health | June 17 – August 26
All summer long; certified instructors lead free outdoor fitness classes every Wednesday evening on the Seattle Center campus:
 
• 5:30 PM – Gentle Yoga
• 6:45 PM – Zumba® Class
• 6:45 PM – Pilates Mat Class
 
Washington Brewers Festival | June 13
Seattle's premier craft beer celebration returns with innovative brews, KEXP DJs, and plenty of surprises—an unforgettable summer afternoon celebrating the state's world-class brewing scene. Ticketed event.
 
Seattle PrideFest | June 28, 12–8 PM
Immediately following the downtown Pride Parade, Seattle Center hosts one of the nation's largest free Pride festivals—three stages, multiple beverage gardens, and hundreds of artists and exhibitors celebrating love, equality, and community.
 
Tiësto | June 19
One of the world’s biggest DJs brings his signature sound to Fisher Pavilion for a massive outdoor show at the heart of Seattle Center’s campus—ticketed event
 
Seattle Center Hot Air Balloon Glow | June 21, 8:00 PM
Presented by Seattle Ballooning in partnership with Seattle Center, the Seattle Glow transforms the South Fountain Lawn into one of the city’s most magical summer nights—and it’s completely free. DJ music kicks off at 8:00 PM, and from 9:00 to 10:00 PM, massive hot air balloons inflate and glow like 100-foot lanterns beneath the Space Needle. Perfect for families, photographers, and date night alike. Arrive early for the best views.
 
41st Annual Naturalization Ceremony | July 4, 12–1 PM
Seattle Center again hosts this deeply moving civic tradition at Fisher Pavilion. The Honorable David G. Estudillo, Chief United States District Judge for the Western District of Washington, will swear in hundreds of new citizens of the United States. 
 
BLASTFEST — Afro-Beats Music Festival | July 18
Seattle's premier Afrobeats festival returns to Fisher Pavilion for its fourth year, bringing together global stars and emerging artists for a high-energy celebration of African and diasporic music and culture. 21+ for entry—ticketed event
 
Bite of Seattle | July 24 – 26
The iconic culinary festival returns with hundreds of local vendors, dozens of live music performances, and beer and wine gardens to explore. A beloved Seattle tradition since 1982.
 
Movies at the Mural presented by Prime Video | Fridays, July 24 – August 21
Catch beloved films under the stars on a 40-foot screen with the Space Needle as your backdrop. Bring a blanket and enjoy:

Brownies & Lemonade | August 1, 2–10 PM
Brownies & Lemonade returns to Seattle Center for its second year, taking over the Fisher Pavilion block beneath the Space Needle for a full day of electronic music. Gryffin, RL Grime, Wax Motif, Juelz, Joyryde, and more perform from 2:00 to 10:00 PM. Food trucks on site. 18+ entry; 21+ for drinks—ticketed event
 
Seattle Tattoo Expo | August 14 – 16
More than 250 tattoo artists from around the world descend on the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall for three days of world-class artistry, live music, and burlesque performances. A true celebration of tattoo culture in all its forms—a ticketed event
 
Panda Fest | August 28
One of the largest outdoor Asian food festivals in the country returns to Seattle Center, showcasing the vibrant food, art, and cultural traditions of Asia through tastings, experiential activities, and a lively market fair—a ticketed event.
 
Bumbershoot | September 5 – 6
One of the nation's longest-running arts and music festivals closes out the summer season with a dynamic lineup spanning music, visual arts, comedy, and more across Seattle Center's campus—a ticketed event
 
Seattle Center Festál — Free Cultural Festivals
Seattle Center's signature series of free cultural celebrations continues all summer, with highlights including: Pagdiriwang Philippine Festival (June 6–7), Indigenous People Festival (June 13), Polish Festival Seattle (July 11), A Day in Punjab (August 1), Tibet Fest (August 8–9), BrasilFest (August 16), and Festival Sundiata presents Black Arts Fest (August 22–23).
 
Major Concerts at Climate Pledge Arena
The Seattle Center campus also includes world-class concert events at Climate Pledge Arena all summer long, featuring artists including A$AP Rocky (June 30), Lionel Richie and Earth, Wind & Fire (August 3), J. Cole (August 25), Tame Impala (September 1–2), and many more.
