Indigenous People Festival Returns to Seattle Center for a Day of Culture and Celebration

The free festival features Indigenous artists, performances, food, and community programming

SEATTLE , WAIndigenous People Festival returns to Seattle Center Festál on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., transforming the Seattle Center Armory Food & Event Hall and Mural Amphitheatre into a vibrant celebration of Indigenous culture, creativity, and community.

This free, one-day festival invites the public to experience the richness and diversity of American Indian and Alaska Native cultures through traditional and contemporary performances, artisan vendors, food, exhibits, and community resources.

Guests can explore a dynamic marketplace featuring Indigenous artisans offering handcrafted goods, artwork, jewelry, clothing, and more, alongside food vendors and community social service organizations. The festival highlights Indigenous creativity and provides opportunities to connect with organizations and programs serving Native communities.

Throughout the day, attendees will experience live music, dance, drumming, storytelling, and cultural performances that celebrate Indigenous Brilliance, traditions, and contemporary expression. With more than 70 vendors and performers expected, the festival offers a full day of activities that bring together community members, families, and visitors of all backgrounds. For those 21+, relax and catch up with friends at the indoor beer garden featuring BIPOC-owned breweries.

This year’s Indigenous People Festival also features an expanded visual arts experience. A curated art gallery in the Armory Balcony will showcase a refined selection of Indigenous artwork, offering an intimate space to explore creativity and cultural expression. On the main floor, a juried Artist Expo will invite artists to compete for prizes, celebrating the breadth and depth of Indigenous artistic talent.

“Indigenous People Festival creates a space for our communities to celebrate culture, creativity, and connection,” said Wayne Harvey, Development Program Director at Seattle Indian Health Board. “We’re proud to bring together Indigenous artists, performers, and organizations to share their work and traditions while building community and visibility for Native people in Seattle and beyond.”

Indigenous People Festival is part of Seattle Center Festál, a year-round series of 25 free cultural festivals that celebrate the diverse communities of the Pacific Northwest.
