The Italian Festival is part of the Seattle Center Festál series and produced in partnership with Festa Italiana.

In 2022, Seattle Center Festál is celebrating 25 years of stories and traditions. The theme, "Where the World Gathers" links together the series of 24 free festivals presented throughout the year, each with a unique cultural focus, identity, and range of engaging activities.

COVID-19 Protocols:
In terms of COVID requirements, Seattle Center is a City of Seattle department. Thus, we are following the guidance from the City of Seattle as well as King County Public Health. Learn about Seattle Center's health and safety protocols at our events. To protect the public, City staff and contractors are asked to be fully vaccinated.

The festival will take place in-person September 24, 10am-9pm & September 25, 10am-6pm in the Armory Food & Event Hall and Fisher Pavilion. It is free and open to the public.

Festa Italiana is an all-volunteer community organization that produces an annual series of events the last week of September, culminating in a free Italian Festival. Since 1988, they have been celebrating the cultural roots of Italians and Italian-Americans in the Pacific Northwest by promoting the arts, the food and the culture that are uniquely Italian.

Your club or organization is invited to participate in the tournament with as many teams of four as you wish. As always, this will be a double-elimination contest.

  • Play will begin each day at 9:00 am and all teams must be registered by 9:00 am. Latecomers may forfeit their chance to play after that time.

  • The Bocce committee reserves the right to reassign a team to another category if necessary. You will be advised by phone if this occurs.
