DESCRIPTION:SPIN THE LOOK is a fashion, dance, visual design experience, created by Jarman Hauser and co-produced by Jessica Jones.
This show is a celebration of reusability in fashion and self-expression. Each work is a custom one-of-one piece that was handcrafted, commissioned, and/or upcycled to extend the life of the fabric, and more importantly…skip the landfill. The environmental impact from waste in the fashion industry is preventable. Spin The Look will feature wearable art designed by Jarman Hauser along with pieces by Designers Heidi Grace Acuna, Edwing D’Angelo Atelier, Visionary C, Gregory Smith NYC, and Ingrid Hauser (OmaMade).The tear, stain, or hole is what gives the garment character. Don’t throw it out, add your own personal style and #upcycle it.
The show will also feature special performances by, Niqui Erandy, Vivian Augustine, Emma Ly, Gabriel Colon, Olivia Stevens, nawa alviar horton, and Symone Sanz.
