Classic Carousel

Seattle Center Winterfest is a spectacular festival – six weeks of fun, magic and merriment, including a plethora of activities that you can enjoy everyday from November 23 - January 6.

Skate to festive music at the Ice Rink. Ride the Classic Carousel and drive the Winter Train. Or discover exciting new programs that have been added for this year's celebration.

With so much to experience, Seattle Center Winterfest is your best destination for creating happy holiday memories - any day of the week!

Nov. 23 – Dec. 31, all day, FREE
Center House, 3rd Floor

Be a part of making art with Circular, artist Caroline Kapp’s interactive video installation. Kapp explores the simplicity, complexity and history of the circle. Draw your circle Nov. 30 and Dec. 14 from 6pm – 8pm, and Dec. 8 and Dec. 22 from 2pm – 4pm. The circles you create will be digitally recorded and displayed in the gallery through Dec. 31. www.carolinekapp.com

Winter Train and Village
Nov. 23 – Dec. 31, 10am – 7pm
Center House

Embark on a journey by train through a miniature village representing the turn of the century. This popular exhibit is sponsored by the Center House Merchants. You can operate the train yourself during special hours: 10:30am - 12:30pm, 1:30pm - 3:30pm and 4:30pm - 6:30pm daily. Cash donations are welcome to support FREE and low cost events at Seattle Center - $5 suggested.

Discover 74 acres transformed into a winter wonderland with thousands of festive lights. Take a walk on campus, or just enjoy the sparkling lanes on your way to dozens of Winterfest events at Seattle Center.

Fisher Pavilion

Glide into the season at the Winterfest Ice Rink. Whether you wobble on skates or perform double axels, the Ice Rink is an exhilarating experience for everyone. Admission: $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 6-12, children ages 5 and under are free with a paying adult. Skate rental: $2. Cash only.

Classic Carousel
A family favorite
Nov. 23 – Jan. 6, $1 per ride
Sunday – Thursday, 11am – 8pm
Friday and Saturday, 11am – 10pm
Fisher Pavilion

It’s old-fashioned fun on the carousel for the young and young-at-heart. Take a ride on these classic horses with your little tyke or someone special. A popular activity at Winterfest, this is an annual tradition for all ages.
