Teen Tix

Are you 13 - 18 years old?
Do you enjoy music, dance, theatre or art?
Want to purchase tickets to any of these activities for $5?

The Teen Tix Experience in 8 simple steps:

Register for it!

  1. Fill out the online form
  2. Wait (about) 2 weeks (a temporary pass will be emailed to you in the meantime)
  3. Receive your Teen Tix pass in the mail
  4. Stick it on your keychain!

Use it!

  1. Decide what to go see by visiting the Teen Tix website or reading your weekly Teen Tix e-newsletter.
  2. Call the box office on the day you want to go and ask if they expect to have Teen Tix tickets available for that evening’s show or purchase your ticket for that evening over the phone (with your parents’ permission, of course).
  3. Show up any time (that the box office is open) on the day of the show, go the ticket window, show your Teen Tix pass and your school ID or Drivers License, and buy a $5 ticket with cash (no debit or credit cards).  On Sundays (at our performing arts partner venues) and Thursdays (at our museum partner venues) you can buy two tickets for $5 each, so bring a friend or family member!
  4. Experience great art!

Know it!
Teen Tix is a rush ticket program.  That means, on the day of the show, if there are tickets available and you have your Teen Tix pass, you can buy one.  Sometimes, shows will be sold out and no rush tickets will be available.  Concerned about this possibility?  Never fear!  Consult step 6 above.

You must be 13-18 to use your pass.  You may be asked to present your student ID or other proof of age in order to buy a ticket, so come prepared.

You may only use cash to purchase Teen Tix tickets. Credit cards, debit cards and checks will not be accepted (except over the phone).

You must have your Teen Tix pass with you in order to get the Teen Tix discount.  If you lose your pass, fill out this online form and we’ll send you a new one.

On Two for $10 Sundays (at performing arts venues) and Thursdays (at museums) anyone, including an adult or a child too young for Teen Tix, can use your companion ticket, but you still need your pass, your cash and ID to get your tickets.

Don’t forget:  The Pass, The Cash, The ID!
