Special Consideration - At this time we are not accepting applications for Special Consideration Student Showcases.
We will consider applications for performance dates outside of our regular Showcase schedule for groups that meet the following criteria:
Groups traveling long distances (75 miles or more)
Groups preparing for or returning from significant competitions or special events.
Your performance date(s) must be no less than 3 weeks and no more than 4 months in advance of the date of request. If your requested date(s) falls within one of the established Showcase events listed above, you must apply for a performance during that event.
Booking is contingent upon availability and is in consideration of other events and festivals at Seattle Center. If you think your group fits the above criteria, please fill out an on-line application to be considered.
The Application Submission Period for Winterfest 2010 will begin September 1st.
Application Process
Student Showcase applications are not accepted by telephone or email, they must be completed online.
Applications may only be submitted during the above listed application submission period for each event.
Dates/times are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. No guarantees are made based on prior participation.
If you are applying for more than one group (choir, band, orchestra, 2 bands, etc.), you must fill out one application for each group.
Click here to view "Currently Available" performance dates/times. Please check to see if a desired date/time is open before filling out an application.
It is strongly recommended that Bands, Orchestras and other instrumental ensembles submit a Stage Set-Up Diagram.
Visit the FAQs for performance procedures, conditions and answers to common questions.
If you have any changes to your application (i.e. number of students performing, performance date/time, technical requirements etc.) or if your contact information has changed, please notify us ASAP at StudentShowcases@seattle.gov
Center House is a family friendly location that is open to the general public. Performances must be appropriate for all ages.
Student Showcases are for youth-based performances only. Groups that require compensation or that intend to charge an admission fee need to rent an appropriate facility. Please contact the Seattle Center Event Sales Department at 206-684-7202.
