Seattle Centers Student Showcases provide an opportunity for schools and community groups to participate in seasonal events and share their artistic accomplishments with family, friends and the public from the Center House stage.
Student Showcases are held during three primary periods each year.
Whirligig
Event Dates: End of March - First 2 weeks of April

Applications Processed: January February (or until full)

School Year Commencement
Event Dates:Mid May - Mid June
Application Submission Period Begins: January 1
Applications Processed: March April (or until full)
Confirmation Packets Sent: Early May
Winterfest
Event Dates: Day after Thanksgiving - New Years Eve
Application Submission Period Begins: June 1
Applications Processed: September October (or until full)
Confirmation Packets Sent: Early November
Special Consideration
We will consider applications for performance dates outside of our regular Showcase schedule for groups that meet the following criteria
Groups traveling long distances
Groups preparing for or returning from significant competitions or special events.
Booking is contingent upon availability, is in consideration of other events and festivals at Seattle Center and dates cannot be confirmed more than 4 months in advance. If you think your group fits this criteria, please fill out an on-line application to be considered.

Student Showcase Update - The application submission period for Commencement 2008 is now closed. The application submission period for Winterfest 2008 will open June 1st.
***Important Note***
After August 1, 2008 bus parking will no longer be available in the 5th Ave. parking lot. There will only be limited street parking for buses. Please go to www.seattlecenter.com/transportation for more information.
Dates/times are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. No guarantees are made based on prior participation.
Applications may only be submitted during the above listed application submission period for each event.
In the middle of this page click on the "Current Availability" link to see available dates and times for the current booking period only. Please pay close attention to any notes at the top of the page.
Separate applications must be submitted for each group performing (i.e. orchestra and choir) and for groups performing on more than one date.
Once an application is processed, an offer for a performance date/time will be emailed to the applicant. The offer will be released if it is not confirmed/accepted within 7 calendar days.
Once a date/time is accepted, a confirmation packet, that includes parking and load/unload permit(s), if applicable, will be mailed according to the above stated schedule.
Center House is a family friendly location that is open to the general public. Performances must be appropriate for all ages.
Student Showcases are for community-based performances only. Groups that require compensation or that intend to charge an admission fee need to rent an appropriate facility. Please contact the Seattle Center Sales Department at 206-684-7202.
