The Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) offers vocational training in Computer Game Development (Animation and Programming) and 3D Animation for Screen, supporting the digital creative industries, which continue to grow faster than any other entertainment or content sector.
The design and production skills of interactive arts now underpin production activity in a large number of industries, not only in games, film and entertainment. These skills are now recognized as increasingly valuable for various other industries including but not exclusive to the following:
- Engineering, architecture and urban planning
- Defense simulation and educational resource creation
- Biotechnology and scientific illustration across all disciplines
Entry to AIE courses involves a portfolio of art review or for programming, a written test as well as proof of a GED or a high school diploma.
