The spacious Exhibition Hall is home to many exhibits, trade-shows, banquets, and large receptions. Guests enter from Mercer Street through a private lobby that includes a box office and coatroom. A 1,200 car covered parking garage is located directly across Mercer Street from the Exhibition Hall. The Westin Seattle provides a wide menu of concessions for guests to choose from.

Exhibition Hall History

The Seattle Center Exhibition Hall was originally built for the 1962 World’s Fair and housed the “world of art” exhibit. This exhibit included art from sixty-one museums around the world by such artists as Michelangelo, Titian, Renoir, Rembrandt, and Homer. Art of the Ancient East and Northwest Coast Indian Art were also on display. The Pacific Northwest Ballet's Phelps Center was built in unused airspace of the Seattle Center's Exhibition Hall in 1993 to house education and rehearsal facilities as well as offices for PNB.
