The Rolling Stones' much-anticipated 1972 tour occured just a few weeks following the release of the critically acclaimed Exile on Main St. But the tour was more than just an opportunity to plug the latest songs; it was a major cultural milestone. When Mick Jagger was inverviewed by Dick Cavett in 1972 the American talk show host asked Jagger if he could imagine doing what he was doing at the age of 60. Jagger's response, not surprisingly, "Absolutely."
