"Her architectural command of stage space becomes handsomely evident...the ways in which Ms. Tharp dramatizes space are constantly striking” - Alastair Macaulay, The New York Times

PNB jump-starts the new season with three works by the legendary Twyla Tharp—including Waiting at the Station, a dream-come-true world premiere collaboration with another legend, Allen Toussaint, the New Orleans songwriter, pianist, and singer, who will perform his original score with the PNB Orchestra.

Sharing the program with Twyla’s world premiere are Scotish-inspired Brief Fling (PNB premiere!) and Tharp’s homage to Frank Sinatra and ballroom dance, the unforgettable Nine Sinatra Songs.
