Safeco Insurance Festál: Tibet Fest – Tibetan Cultural Heritage
Aug. 22 – 23, noon – 6pm
Seattle Center Campus, FREE

Centuries-old stories, rituals, foods and melodies link an ancient culture to modern times. Tibet Fest helps preserve and present Tibetan traditions with artwork, dance and discussions of the Tibetan people. Handmade arts and crafts, prayer flags, a Tibetan bazaar and children’s activities highlight Tibetan rituals and customs, while symbolic masks, ancient movement and expert speakers illuminate the culture’s foundation in Buddhism.
