In lieu of a cancelled in-person event, the festival is offering a virtual presentation.

Festival Sundiata presents Black Arts Fest is part of the Virtual Festál 2020 series, supported through grants from 4Culture & ArtsFund. Tune in on June 20-21 at 1pm on Facebook.

This year, Festival Sundiata celebrates their 40th year, which would've been a spectacular in-person party. In 2021, they plan to properly recognize and celebrate their anniversary. The festival is the longest running African American festival celebrated in the Pacific Northwest and Seattle, holding its first festival in 1980.
