Welcome to Seattle Center
International Children’s Friendship Festival (ICFF) will take place April 20-21, 11am-6pm at the Fisher Pavilion. It is free and open to the public.
The festival is produced by Turkish American Cultural Association of Washington (TACAWA) in partnership with Seattle Center and Ethnic Heritage Council. ICFF is an opportunity for children to celebrate their cultures, international peace and friendship through performance and education.
ICFF draws inspiration from the Turkish tradition of "Children's Day," established by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, in 1920 to emphasize that the future belongs to the next generations. Every year, kids from around the world visit Turkey to showcase their cultural dances and become part of this peaceful reminder of global friendship. The ICFF offers a unique opportunity to commemorate this important effort and continue Atatürk 's legacy of "Peace at Home and Peace in the World."
