The Seattle Center Pavilion (Room B) has 5,300 square feet of event space, a utility room with a catering sink, plus a private lobby with restrooms. The facility is ideally suited for small exhibit shows, meetings for up to 450 theatre style or 272 classroom style, and up to 250 banquet style. This venue is located at the corner of 2nd Avenue and Thomas Street on the Seattle Center Campus next to the new Seattle Center Skateboard Park (opening June 2009).

Catering
Seattle Center's meeting and exhibit facilities are served by an exciting variety of approved caterers. These caterers provide services in all Seattle Center rental facilities other than KeyArena and McCaw Hall. Click here for the current list of caterers.

You are free to choose any caterer from this list; just contact the caterer of your choice directly to discuss your menu and pricing options. Your caterer will supply all linens, glassware, silverware, china, etc. Tables, chairs and white tablecloths are available from Seattle Center.

Rates

Room B: $700 per day
(Half-price for the first 2 move-in and last 2 move-out days)

Rent includes:

  • use of facility between 6:00am and Midnight each day
  • chairs, including setup
  • up to 5 registration tables (8 feet x30 inches) with tablecloths
  • built in sound system and up to 4 wired microphones
  • lectern
  • projection table
  • 2 parking permits per Event
  • Nine rolling portable white walls (8 feet x 8 feet) for use in dividing or decorating room
  • facility cleaning and restroom servicing
  • utilities
  • U.S. and Washington flags, as available
  • Easels, as available
  • dedicated Event Service Representative to coordinate Seattle Center services
  • Customer Service center staffed 7 days a week, 7am-9pm
  • Event promotion on Seattle Center website and campus-wide kiosks

Additional expenses apply for:

  • Admissions staffing (ushers, ticket takers, guards)
  • Security staffing (peer security, police)
  • Stage labor and equipment
  • Sound labor and equipment not included above
  • Forklift services
  • Electrical services
  • Tables and tablecloths not included above
  • Additional parking permits not included above
  • Catering by an approved Seattle Center caterer
  • Phone/Internet connections by Seattle Center's vendor, CCPI
  • Assembly permit from Seattle Fire Marshal when required, for exhibit shows or other variable room layouts
  • Other requirements depending on event parameters
  • Fees also apply for sale of any Event merchandise (except for merchandise sold by vendors at an exhibit show)
